This week I feel like I have finally gotten back into the swing of blogging. It feels so good to be sitting at my laptop and writing again. This week I launched a new section on my blog entitled Life. The main idea behind this section is to give a place to cool events and things that I get to experience during my day to day happenings. So hopefully my latest post on The Ripe Food Market at Mushrif Park is the first of many to call this section home. I am also hoping to start posting under my Munch Box section again this week. The oven and stove in my new kitchen is fab and I am eager to get more adventurous with what I am cooking.
Now without further ado my five things from the week:
- The 100 on Netflix
I have seen this program popping up on my Netflix stream for some time now but never quite got around to checking it out. I also heard that it was quite raw from other people who had watched it so I wasn’t sure if it was my cup of tea. However, on Saturday morning I felt in the mood for something complex and this ticked all the boxes. I never know what is going to happen next and the suspense is just enough to sustain me without annoying me. This is a must for anyone who is looking for a new Netflix addiction.
2. 16 Ways The Little Mermaid Would be Different in 2015
I am a die hard Little Mermaid fan and Elite Daily provided a great little giggle for me with this one.
3. Bondi Harvest on YouTube
My new favourite channel for healthy eating inspiration. I found him through my favourite of all time Donal Skehan. I like how realistic he is because he preaches a balanced diet. We can’t all be eating lettuce leaves all the time so I love that some of his recipes are more indulgent. I also crave his laid back surfer lifestyle from time to time. He’s little Minute Moments Videos are a nice compliment to the usual recipes. The video above makes me miss Cali so much, especially when my 9 to 5 is getting too hectic! But we can still dream right?!
4) Girly Maxi Dress
The minute I get paid this month this dress is coming into my life.
5. Lang Leav’s Poetry
One of my friends here introduced me to Lang Leav and I have been obsessed ever since. Every romantic on this planet should follow her on Instagram right now! This one is particularly poignant to me right now. Her new book is also currently on my list of things to buy once I get paid. Honestly, I have most of my salary mentally spent before I even receive it!
I hope you enjoyed this weeks favourites,
Wishing you all a wonderful week to come,
