My five things are going up late this week because I was preoccupied with celebrating my 22nd birthday this weekend! I celebrated in style with some of my closest girlfriends in the lovely little sea side town of Lahinch in County Clare. As per usual I have picked up more than a few bits and pieces to share with you guys over the duration of my week
1)Tapas at Long Street Cafe
These were the best tapas that I have ever had! The Pea and Pesto Gnocchi were my favourite but everything that we had on our table was fantastic. Apparently the chef put the menu together in two days! Well worth the stop if you are in the Lahinch Area.
I have been to Bunratty Castle twice this year and it never gets old. My friend Saoirse had never been there so we decided to make a little stop on our way home to Cork. It is lovely to see people experience the castle and folk park for the first time. I always find that it is a great day out for all ages. I personal prefer the folk village to the castle and my favourite is the main street of the village with all the cute, traditional old shops and the school house. Definitely a cute way to pass a summer afternoon.
I unfortunately cannot afford to pay upwards of €400 for a pair of flats no matter how cute they are! So I am on the hunt for a more purse friendly pair.
4) Favourite Song: Ed Sheeran “Don’t”
Because Ed with a bit of attitude can never be bad!
5) Donal Skehan’s LA Vlog
Donal has been uploading a series of amazing vlogs lately and they give me serious wander lust! I never knew Grand Central Food Market existed when I was in LA. But of course this means that I will have to go back some day to be able to go and see it. Like I need any more of an excuse! His Amsterdam Vlog is awesome too.
I hope you guys all had a fabulous week and that you enjoyed my post,
